i love her so much!! miss mavis is my total happy place… mavis and pops have this way of calming me and making me feel better. the unbelievable amount of beauty contained within those two souls is massive… it just radiates out of her from within and it did pops as well before he passed. they always leave me feeling so much better after i listen to them and have the power to put a huge smile on my face like nothin else… those staples folks just have something magical about them… ♥♥♥

i already posted this to my main blog but i am putting it up on this one too because hands down this is my favorite song at the moment. i absolutely love this song and love mavis staples! i wish i knew her she is seriously way cool and amazing from what i can tell. i listen to her or her and pops back when he was alive and they were the staple singers and i instantly feel all warm and happy inside… her music and aura are beautiful and it’s like a big hug for my soul. mavis staples is my happy spot lately. haha.
